From the get-go, cleaning seemed to be my calling — so much so, some joked I was born with a vacuum in hand! One of my earliest memories is riding on the back of my grandmother's Electrolux canister vacuum as she cleaned the house. The engineering and mechanics behind vacuums always fascinated me; there's so much more to them than most people realize. My passion isn't just for cleaning; it extends to the equipment and technology that make it possible.


This lifelong passion and knowledge became the foundation of my company when I ventured into the cleaning industry. Although I've been cleaning all my life, Flanders Cleaning Services officially started in 2018. It began quite unexpectedly — cleaning a local furniture store once a week for two hours. It was then I started to think, "Maybe I could turn this into a real business."


By day, I work in human services, a profession that's often misunderstood and undervalued. Balancing this job with my cleaning gig made me realize I didn't want to be just another cleaning service. I wanted my work to stand out, not because "the trash was taken out or a toilet was cleaned," but because people knew who I was and the quality of work I provided.


Determined to create a premium cleaning company, I dove into planning. Today, Flanders Cleaning Services is recognized for its quality and dedication.
